Seattle

I think it’s no secret that I love living in Sacramento. Compared to life in my tiny hometown, Sacramento is full of exciting people and activities (like Swing dancing, of course). And the location is so convenient! Most of my relatives are within an hour’s distance to the North or South, and places like Tahoe and San Francisco aren’t much further to the East and West.

Lately though, I’ve been contemplating a move to Seattle.

Part of my motivation is that I applied for a job with Nintendo up in Redmond, WA (which is right next to Seattle). There aren’t many companies I would relocate for, but Nintendo is definitely one of them. It also helps that, should I actually get hired, it would pretty much be my dream job. It might not have all the perks of someplace like Google, but I’d be writing videogames! How would that not be awesome?!

But the other reason I’m thinking about moving is just because I feel like I need a big change. I’ve been feeling like my life is a bit stagnate lately – between unsatisfactory work, home, social, and love life – and perhaps a drastic change is what I need to jumpstart it.

And for what it’s worth, Seattle seems like a very nice place to live. I already spend an exorbitant amount of time in coffee shops, and I think I could get used to the rain.
